Fourteen years of photographing people around the UK and abroad means that I have clocked up a wealth of experience, skill and knowledge. From lively weddings with 950 guests to intimate weddings with only 4 people and everything in-between. I have learnt so much about values and respecting the wedding traditions of different beliefs, cultures and religions, as well as worked alongside creative suppliers who truly know their trade and have the biggest kindest souls to match. I am also very proud of the business awards that I have accumulated. Twice I have been a regional finalist for The Wedding Industry Awards Photographer of the Year which is voted for by the people! I am most proud of being finalist for both the 2013 New Business of the Year Docklands Business Club & East London Chamber of Commerce and 2013 Havering New Business of the Year Finalist. For me these were incredible personal and business accolades.
Love What I Do and How I Do It!
I heavily favour documentary photography. It’s what excites me. Capturing those in-between moments that you didn’t notice. I want you and your guests to kick back and enjoy yourselves. Be yourselves. I don’t interrupt or ask you to redo something. I capture moments as I see them. This is what makes my work honest and authentic. Shooting your wedding is just one step in the journey. The magic of editing is an art form in itself. Colourful, vibrant, emotive and fun images are my style. I am literally hunting for these when I pick up my cameras, before I have even pressed a button. You receive the best of the best. Honest images, which means they are authentic in the way they tell the story of your wedding.
It’s Not About Me!
It’s about you. It’s your wedding not mine. Team Wedding! My job is to capture it as I see it. If you have already seen me in action at a wedding, there is a good chance that you have met the other key shooters who work with me. Teresa and Jay, deserve a special mention here. We have worked together a long time. Teresa and Jay are like kick-ass, discreet, likeable camera ninjas with stylish wardrobes and a love for good food! Plus I have a small list of wedding suppliers who I recommend. They are awesome at what they do. Together, these are the guys and gals that I would take into battle.
Stylish, Timeless Albums!
I put my hand up and admit that I enjoy designing your albums. I love to bring your personal story together in print, creating a little bit of your history. I do believe in printing photographs. Yes, I do the modern day thing and provide USBs for your photos or online galleries for you to download your images. In truth, this only goes so far. I want you to put your favourite photos up on your walls. I want you to have an album that you value, that lasts and becomes an heirloom.
No Ordinary Photographer
The bottom line is, that I love photographing weddings. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t do it, if I didn’t. It’s a tough gig and not for the fainthearted. I have learnt my craft in the best way I know how. I push myself because it motivates me to keep improving. I am passionate about photographing people in a way that is honest and beautiful. Many people tell me that truly comes across when they see me and watch me work. In fact, I thank you all for giving me that bit of feedback as it always pushes me forward.
